Throughout the year, our club acquires postcard
collections, both small and large, to be auctioned off in lots at our monthly auctions. Some of the collections are purchased
by the club, and.....some are donated to our club in an effort to support our cause. If you have a collection you would
like to dispose of, or if you know someone who does, we would like to hear from you!
How does it work? We have an appraisal committee which consists of 3 experienced postcard collectors. Each
one independently appraises the collection being considered. We then use these appraisals to determine the
appraisal price or offer.
Please note:
Since postcard appraisals can be very time consuming, we regret that we only appraise collections that we are considering
for acquisition or purchase. We do not provide appraisals simply to establish a value for the owner, for insurance purposes,
etc.
